This is the fourth year I've celebrated my sister's birthday here on the blog with a writing of hers. We are blessed to have books filled with the poems and stories she wrote as a teenager. She died 12 years ago, just about a month after her 19th birthday.
I wish we were together today Ast, talking about whatever amazing thing you'd be doing now. I miss you, I love you, happy birthday.
I am worried about college, about relationships, about friendships, scholarships, having no money. About my relationship with my father, sisters and mother.
But deep down I know I shouldn't worry.
For my Father in Heaven knows what his children need and as a child of Christ, He will take care of me and keep my head above the horrendous waves.
