DC Luxury Mag and my D&G Cake

Me and my cake are in DC Modern Luxury Magazine's September issue, how fun?!

I made a Dolce & Gabbana inspired cake from the Fall 2013 collection, I love the heavily embellished, corsets, jackets and dresses...

It was a D&G cake (Double Ganache) with gold fondant embellishments, black licorice and coconut jelly beans and matte gold pearls. The photographer has the good overhead shots where you can see the pattern but I haven't been able to get a hold of him so, here are some Instagrams I snapped.

Lot's of gold paintin' went on. And lot's of wine drinkin' happened too.
