It's not often I go nuts about bags, I consider myself a shoe girl - but that can change. I am crazy over the beautiful handbags, crossbody bags and clutches from Emm Kuo Accessories. The line, launched in Spring 2011, has been very well received being featured in Glamour, Vogue.com, Elle Magazine, etc. and is sold at stores like Intermix, Milk in LA and Dagny & Barstow in NYC. The owner and designer is genius, she teamed up with The Coveteur to shoot her lookbook and the photos beautifully convey the quality, workmanship and individual personality and eclecticism of each piece in the collection.
The lookbook was styled with objects the designer has collected from various worldly travels that have influenced the line’s aesthetic in one form or another. The photos provides a glimpse into the experiences, inspirations, and makings of the Emm Kuo Accessories brand; an exotic and rare collection of handbags.
The deep colors in these bags - the green, the red, the tan - they are so much more vibrant than most I've seen. And the structure of these pieces is unique but still classic which is what may turn me into a handbag lady.
