Me and my cake are in DC Modern Luxury Magazine’s September issue, how fun?!
I made a Dolce & Gabbana inspired cake from the Fall 2013 collection, I love the heavily embellished, corsets, jackets and dresses…
It was a D&G cake (Double Ganache) with gold fondant embellishments, black licorice and coconut jelly beans and matte gold pearls. The photographer has the good overhead shots where you can see the pattern but I haven’t been able to get a hold of him so, here are some Instagrams I snapped.

You should be the model in the dress, as well as the cake designer!
Wow thank you ladies! That makes me feel so good. The photo editor asked me, “For the shoot, can you wear the dress the cake is inspired by?” To which I replied, “Yeah right! No, no I can’t.”
that cake looks even better close up which it makes it even more impressive..
