Happy Super Tuesday!

I was at the polls at 6:15 this morning, excited to cast my vote for who I want to win the primary.  I’m not a Republican (I’m not a Democrat either), but there is a candidate in this race who I wholeheartedly support for President  - an occurrence I’ve found to be rare.

Whatever your particular political bent, I encourage you to make up your own mind and not cast a default vote according to party lines.  Voting is supposed to be counting the voice of the individual American, not a war of numbers between the two parties.  By turning off the soundtrack of talking points constantly playing on TV and in our heads, and doing independent research and some soul searching, our cast ballot takes on personal significance.  Maybe we can elect people we truly want as our leaders - not who the establishment wants and not who we think has the best chance of winning for the party.

The only wasted vote is a vote against your conscience.

By the way, don’t you love the gorgeous floral fashion this Spring?!
